Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players are reporting that their pre-order bonuses have disappeared since the last game update.
Post on Reddit (will open in a new tab)u/Tae17Yong said that while they had “all the extra content that came with the pre-order and the deluxe [version]” from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (will open in a new tab) when they first started playing at launch, “all DLC content was gone”.
“I pre-ordered the deluxe version of Jedi Survivor and for the first few days I had all the extra content that came with the pre-order and the deluxe,” they said. “Went in yesterday and all DLC content is gone.
“I bought the game from EA so I tried to restore the game but it didn’t work,” they added. “I restarted my computer, turned it on and off again, uninstalled the game and redownloaded it. However, all content is missing. I have also contacted EA and they haven’t replied to me yet. . Has anyone had a similar problem and knows a solution?
Interestingly, in a subsequent update, they added that although the DLC returned a couple of days after the issue was raised, when they returned to the game a little later, it “was all gone again.”
“Seriously think this is a bug related to the latest patch and hope it gets fixed soon,” they added (thanks, video gamers (will open in a new tab)).
EA has since confirmed that the problem “under investigation” (will open in a new tab).
“Teams are aware of the reports and are looking into the issue,” Community Manager EA_Leeuw says. “If we have any updates, we hope to be able to share them with you as soon as possible.
“In the meantime, it’s a good idea to try repairing the game files to see if that restores access to the bonus items for you, or to make sure the DLCs are installed correctly,” after which they guide players on how to fix the problem. .
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players also recently stumbled upon another bug. (will open in a new tab), this time about the huge troll enemies in the game, Mogu. In some encounters, it seemed like the space troll could hit you so hard that if you died, your XP would be sent flying, embedding in inaccessible areas of the map so Cal couldn’t get to the marker. An unfortunate fan of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor also recently took to social media to share what they think is “serious game-breaking bug” (will open in a new tab).
last weekend, EA confirmed that it “knows that Star Wars Jedi Survivor is not up to par [its] standards” for PC players (will open in a new tab)and says it’s an issue that mostly affects players with “high performance machines or certain specific configurations.”
“It’s the belief that you’re shamelessly building on what’s gone before that makes Star Wars Jedi: Survivor a great version of something new,” we wrote at GamesRadar+. Star Wars Jedi Survivor Review (will open in a new tab).
