Fast X streaming release status

There has been no official announcement of a streaming release date for Fast X, although we do know it will eventually be released on Peacock, not Netflix or HBO Max, thanks to a deal between the streamer and Universal.

In terms of a potential release date, we know that the Universal-Peacock agreement requires films to be released to stream no later than four months after their theatrical debut. The last three Universal films to hit the Peacock — Cocaine Bear, Knock in the Cabin and M3GAN — were added to the service 49 days after their debut. This, in theory, places the Fast X streaming release date between July 7 and September 19.

What is Fast X about?

Fast X continues the story of Dom Toretto and his “family” of street racers. Here is Universal’s official Fast X review:

On many missions and against incredible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outmaneuvered, outmaneuvered and outmaneuvered every enemy in their path. shadows of the past, who are fueled by blood feuds, and who are determined to destroy this family and destroy everything – and everyone – whom the House loves, forever.

In the 2011 film Fast & Furious 5, Dom and his crew took down the nefarious Brazilian drug lord Hernan Reyes and beheaded his empire on a bridge in Rio de Janeiro. What they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son, Dante (Aquaman’s Jason Momoa), had witnessed it all and had spent the last 12 years devising a plan to make the Houses pay the ultimate price.

Dante’s plot will scatter the Doma family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London, and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be created and old enemies will emerge. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son (Leo Abelo Perry, Black) is the ultimate target of Dante’s revenge.

Spacetop is an ‘augmented reality laptop’ for remote work on the go

Published

on

Human Computer Interaction Company Beautiful launches its first product, Spacetop, a screenless “augmented reality laptop” that projects tabs onto a 100-inch virtual screen. The laptop – if you can call it that – is a hardware deck and a full-sized keyboard with a pair of specially matched NReal glasses. The glasses project tabs right in front of what the user is looking at while remaining invisible to everyone else.

In terms of specs, Spacetop uses a Snapdragon 865 paired with an Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, putting it in a class with some smartphones that are already capable of driving AR glasses. However, it is not the size of a smartphone, measuring 1.57 inches high, 10.47 inches wide, and 8.8 inches deep, and it weighs 3.3 pounds, like many of the laptops we could mention here. .

Sightful is clearly aiming for a crossover in the work-from-home or anywhere-to-work market. “Laptops are central to our daily work lives, but the technology has not evolved with modern work from anywhere, privacy and the road warrior mentality. Meanwhile, augmented reality is full of potential and promise, but has not yet found its everyday application,” said Tamir Berliner, co-founder of Sightful, who previously worked at both Leap Motion and Primesense. “We are at the perfect moment for a major paradigm shift in the device we all know and love.”

At the moment, Spacetop can only be purchased for the first 1,000 users through an app-based program. Right now, we don’t have a word on how much it will cost you or when you can pick it up, but we’ll be watching this project with interest to see if it succeeds where so many others do. have failed.

Mid-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X|S updates ‘likely’ says Take-Two boss

Published

on

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick briefly commented on the possibility of updating the new mid-gen console, stating that updated PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles will “probably” be released.

“It probably will,” Zelnik said. Game industry., while adding that the upgraded previous-generation consoles “didn’t have much of a business impact” and that Take-Two would continue to support the latest generation of hardware. A new Nintendo console is rumored to be released next year, Zelnick says the company will continue to support the console as well. “Yes, I think we will continue to support him,” he said.

The current generation of console gaming is over two years old since the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 were introduced in November 2020. By comparison, the Xbox One underwent a mid-gen update in the form of the Xbox One X in 2017, four years after its launch, while the PS4 Pro was released three years after the PS4’s launch.

Both consoles focused on delivering natural 4K gameplay, and saw increases in performance and quality modes that prioritized frame rate or resolution, respectively. In most cases, it was either one or the other, and current generation consoles also began to offer more limited graphical options for newer games. Games like Gotham Knights can only be played at 4K and 30fps on the console, with Redfall’s 60fps mode only coming in a future update.

There are a number of reasons why fewer new console games are able to reach the 4K 60fps benchmark, and as Digital Foundry explained, the return of 30fps games is imminent in the current generation of consoles. It’s worth noting that Sony filed a patent for the new drive in April, fueling rumors that a PS5 with a removable drive is in the works.

As for Take-Two, it expects fiscal 2025 to be a very profitable one, as the company assumed GTA 6 would come out next year and help it make an absurd amount of money.
