Yes, boss! Hulu’s “Bear” has released its first trailer for its second season, which will be released on Hulu on June 22.

Bear was a surprise hit for Hulu last year as fans fell in love with chaotic but adored chef Carmen “Carmi” Berzatto, played by Jeremy Allen White. Season 1 ended with Carmi and his chefs discovering hundreds of dollars of hidden money left behind by his late brother Mikey, and they plan to convert The Beef’s diner into a new and improved restaurant, The Bear.

Here’s the Season 2 logline: “Carmi, Sidney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard ‘Richie’ Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bahrach) are working to take their dingy sandwich place to the next level. As they tear down the restaurant to the bone, the team embarks on their own transformational journeys, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future. Of course, it turns out that the only thing more difficult than running a restaurant is opening a new one, and the team must balance the insane bureaucracy of permits and contractors with the beauty and creative anguish of menu planning. The transition also brings a new focus on hospitality. As all staff are forced to come together in new ways, pushing the boundaries of their abilities and attitudes, they will also learn what it means to be at the service of both visitors and each other.”

The cast includes Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Lisa Colon-Zayas and Matty Matheson, with Edwin Lee Gibson, Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon in recurring roles. Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk will also be joining as a guest star. Diversity exclusively reported last month.
